Thunderstorm
This is a picture of a thunderstorm. The sky is a deep, dark, mysterious color. It is changing from a light purple to a dark, rich purple. You can see the treetops, which are black against the dark sky. The leaves on the treetops make different shapes and lumps. Spread out across the sky, there are several lightning flashes. There are three lightning flashes which make up the main part of the picture. The lightning flashes are like cracks of intense light on a wall, and the cracks are quickly spreading. It looks almost as though the sky will rip apart and there will be nothing but a huge sheet of light. Each lightning flash is more intense than the others. The one going down the left side of the picture is the most dangerous one. It is thick, like a stick, but has thinner "cracks" growing out of it. The one on the right side is significantally thinner, and also has the cracks growing out of it. The third one, is the smallest and thinnest one of all. The lightning strikes are shedding a pink-white color light.

I really liked your post! Your description was so good I didn't even need the picture to see the lightning. The only problem is you don't use all the senses in it. I mean to be fair how your supposed to taste or smell lightning I have no idea. However if you could work those senses in, your post would be even better.
This was an interesting post. I loved your choice of picture. I liked how you explained the lighting bolts as "intense light" and "cracks". You did a very good job at describing, but you might want to add things for all 5 senses. Also watch how many adverbs and adjectives you use!
